Martina Berther - electric bass

Martina Berther's (*1984, Chur) sound spectrum ranges from pop to experimental music. As one of the most versatile electric bassists and composers on the Swiss music scene, she has been awarded the Swiss Music Prize of the Year 2020 as well as the Recognition Prize of the Canton of Graubünden. Berther writes music for films, theatres and installations. She travels internationally with her solo project, her bands Ester Poly and AUL, with the author Simone Lappert and with the singer Sophie Hunger. Most recently, she curated the Zurich festival for cross-border music Taktlos. As part of DA_SEIN, Martina Berther will play a solo concert.
