Masein Village Festival

Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of our annual village festival on May 11, 2024! For one day, we are turning our schoolhouse area into a place where we can laugh, fight, chat, dance, celebrate and strengthen village cohesion. You can expect the traditional Jass tournament, where the cards should fly well thought out so that you are not accompanied home by a potato sack. Or test your strength at our village olympiad, where team spirit and skill are required.

When the sun goes down, the playground is transformed into a stage with rousing live music and a bit of an open-air feeling. This year we are proud to be able to present great bands again. From 8 p.m. the following will play for you:

Dr. Dipshit: This up-and-coming rock band from the valley brings a powerful blend of grunge and punk rock to the stage. Known for her high-energy live performances and honest lyrics, her latest album – no, her rock opera – "Lost In Space" tells the emotional story of Milo, a lonely astronaut in search of self-acceptance. Experience the thrilling rock experience of Dr. Dipshit!

Self-service: This rebellious punk rock band from Aarau has been known for its raw energy and socially critical lyrics since its formation in 2010. With an EP full of loud wake-up calls against injustice and for friendship, they are passionate advocates of courage and tolerance. If you're in the mood for a wild evening of powerful punk rock, then you definitely can't miss self-service!

Churchhill: This unique nine-piece band started in 1999 as a DJ MC formation and developed into an eclectic live band. Their colourful mix of Bernese German rap, reggae, rock, funk and pop promises a good mood and makes the audience dance and sing along. Whether it's new songs or well-known hits, Churchhill offers a rousing show!
