The Mels village square is transformed into a lively festival zone - with music, fun and small surprises.
On Saturday, 16 August, Mels village square will once again become a meeting place for young and old: The popular village festival invites you to an atmospheric evening from 5 p.m. - with music, culinary delights and special surprises on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Konkordia Mels music society.
For only 5 francs, you can get delicious spaghetti – made possible by the support of local restaurateurs. Grilled sausages, homemade cakes and cool drinks round off the offer. The aperitif, gin and moo bars ensure a good mood and convivial hours.
Children can look forward to a creative play corner, in which they can even slip into other roles this year. A photo box is also available for the anniversary: a nice opportunity for young and old to capture the special evening with a souvenir picture.
The evening will be opened musically at 5:30 p.m. by the Musikverein Konkordia Gamprin. Afterwards, the music pirates take over and bring atmosphere to the square. In bad weather, a marquee provides protection. Admission is free – it's worth stopping by!
