Mountain tour Malbun – Älpli Malans

Malbun – Augstenberg – Pfälzerhütte – Barthümeljoch – Älpli. This enjoyable hike requires surefootedness and stamina for approx. 7 hours of hiking, 17 kilometres, 1200 metres in altitude!
Meeting point at Sargans train station: 7.30 a.m. Joint journey by public transport to Malbun: From Sargans at 7.44 a.m. Connection from Älplibahn 6.55 a.m. by post bus to Jenins – Maienfeld, then by S-Bahn at 7.12 a.m. to Sargans. Descent with the Älplibahn at 5.30 p.m. and 5.45 p.m.
Maximum 16 people. Food from your own backpack. 30 francs for the snack plate in the Älplibahn-Beizli with salsiz, cheese, pear bread and a glass of wine and the descent by Älplibahn (arrival by public transport and possible stop at the Pfälzerhütte at your own account).
