Multifaceted World Heritage Day in Vättis

On Saturday, 14 June, there is a lot going on in Vättis - on World Heritage Day, the new visitor centre in the former Alpine School opens at 9.30 a.m. and there are guided tours and a colourful bouquet of activities for the whole family throughout the day.

The motto of the day "A steinigi Gattig bin ünsch" is inspired by the Walser culture in the Tamina Valley and alludes to the formative power of stones - both in nature and in people's lives. Visitors can expect an eventful day full of exciting insights into the geology, history and culture of the region.
