Note di Passaggio "Festival di musica"

On August 8, a very special concert will be held in the church of San Martino in Soazza.

The new music festival "Note di passaggio" is born. In three cantons (Ticino, Graubünden and Valais).
In three small but charming villages (Soazza GR, Brusino Arsizio TI and Simplon Dorf VS) located in
a new musical event comes to life in the South of the Alps, on 8, 9 and 10 August 2025
with concerts at 20:00.
These places are united by being located along important communication routes in Europe and the title
takes up this characteristic, declining it in music.
In a period of tensions and fragmentations, music has always indicated exchanges, passages, understandings
and common dialogue.
At the base of the Festival are the organ riches present on site, animated by Gianni Gebbia, jazz musician
and world-famous improviser and Willy Merz, Lausanne composer and creator of the event.
The program is an unprecedented journey through time, from the mysticism of Hildegard von Bingen to jazz
and contemporary improvisation.

The Festival is organized by Merz Stiftung Lugano with the contribution of the municipalities involved and the Canton of Graubünden.
