Open Day at the Gonzen Sargans Mine

On the "Open Day", the Gonzen mine is open to the whole family. The guided tours start with a film that provides a lot of information about Gonzen and its history. Afterwards, visitors take the "Gonzen-Zügli" for about two kilometres through the base tunnel into the interior of the mountain. From the train station there, an interesting walking tour offers an overview of some of the facilities of the mine and the ore deposit.
