Patagonien - Explora Live Show
Description
Doors open 45 minutes before the start
The Carretera Austral leads through 17 national parks, past dry steppes, rainforests, high mountains and huge glaciers. Ingo Arndt, who is one of the world's most respected wildlife and nature photographers, travels through Patagonia for a total of 16 months. He encounters giant Andean condors, rare Andean deer, discovers the tiny Darwin frog and accompanies two female puma as they raise their young – a unique natural spectacle!
Patagonia is one of the wildest landscapes on our planet and the destination of many travelers. Ingo Arndt travels along the 1350-kilometer Carretera Austral gravel road, the only way through Patagonia from north to south. On the way, the multi-award-winning photographer is mainly looking for animal stories. He spends seven months photographing the cougars in Torres del Paine National Park. The result is the first complete report ever on wild cougars - from 2026 it will be presented on the live stage for the first time as a Patagonia lecture.
Since the beginning of his career, Ingo Arndt has dedicated himself to the production of detailed animal reports. With his pictures, he wants to arouse emotions in the audience, make them aware of the richness of nature and stand up for the protection of nature. Beyond the search for the perfect single image, his goal is to document the complex ecological relationships and to make the unique behaviors in the animal kingdom visible in an aesthetic way.
