The film "Rahel Granja - Autonomy and Dignity despite Dementia" tells the touching story of a woman in midlife who, after being diagnosed with dementia, wants to preserve her self-determination and dignity despite the challenges of dementia. Rahel Granja is increasingly confronted with the symptoms of dementia, but still tries to remain active in her everyday life and to preserve her identity and quality of life. The film sheds light on the ethical dilemmas that arise in dealing with dementia: How much self-determination can and should a person in an advanced stage of the disease still be granted?
