Reading with Daniela Schwegler in Waltensburg

Daniela Schwegler is a lawyer and follows her vocation as an author and copywriter.

She worked as an editor at the Swiss Dispatch Agency (sda), the legal journal plädoyer and the church newspaper Reformiert. As a freelance journalist, she has written for various media in Switzerland.

She has been freelancing since 2011 and reached Alp with Traum. Alpine Women in Portrait (2013) made the bestseller lists.

With mountain fever. Portrait of Hut Wardens (2015) was followed by a second successful title and with her country air. A Portrait of Women Mountain Farmers (2017), she once again climbed onto the bestseller lists. Her fourth mountain women's band Himmelwärts. Portraits of female mountain guides (2019) took her high up.

Based on her books on mountain women, she dives with Uferlos. Ferrymen in Portrait (2022) delve deep into water worlds.

She loves interviewing and portraying people.

Whenever possible, she is out and about in the paradisiacal nature, be it on long hikes, collecting wild plants in the fields or in her enchanting garden.
