In the newly initiated lecture series "Rendez-vous des arts", important topics on art and culture will be dealt with in one-hour lectures. The focus is on the topic of "Art and Architecture".

The architect Gion A. Caminada and the art historian Philip Ursprung will discuss the question of what art can contribute to concrete architecture.

Gion A. Caminada lives and works as an architect in Vrin. He was a lecturer and professor at the ETH in Zurich for 25 years.

Prof. Dr. Philip Ursprung is Professor of Art and Architectural History at ETH Zurich. In 2023, he represented Switzerland at the Venice Architecture Biennale with Karin Sander with the exhibition Neighbours. Recent books include Joseph Beuys: Art, Capital, Revolution (Munich, 2021) and Gordon Matta-Clark: An Archival Sourcebook (co-editor, Berkeley, 2022).
