resonart camerata

Description
“I am a poet, a loving poet. I dream of my beloved... and this is my dream.” resonart camerata connects resounding words with articulate music to create a total work of art on this concert evening. Dreamily, the ensemble, accompanied by a speaker, leads through melodies and poems. Romantic poets, dreaming fantasy beings, and solitary thinkers have their say, inspiring new thoughts and perspectives on very current topics. The work by Amir Liberson, which is being premiered in this version, comes from within the ranks of the musicians themselves. In his diverse and captivating music, a dreaming self searches through memories for the boundary between reality and imagination. The moving duet of words and music is interpreted by an exciting and highly acclaimed ensemble under the direction of Jonas Bürgin. resonart is a collective of around 25 selected professional musicians. Since 2015, they have surprised and delighted their audience. Not only do they interpret works from the Baroque to the modern with great skill and flexibility in the traditional sense, but they also present interdisciplinary projects that combine acting, poetry, discussions about music, and much more. The desire for the unheard unites this collective! The award-winning artists stand out through outstanding musical qualities, curiosity, and self-reflection. The fusion of these traits leads to exciting, innovative, and inspiring concert programs. Under the name resonart camerata, the award-winning musicians of the in-house chamber orchestra are organized: their playing captivates with power and expression. Young, authentic, and close to the audience, they curiously and energetically set off to new musical shores and enchant with fresh and intimate concert formats. Lived democracy is the recipe for success for this modern ensemble: the ongoing exchange among each other on equal footing shapes ideas, develops the chamber music character, and creates deep friendships. The internationally active musicians are also setting new standards in virtuosity within the Swiss music scene.
