Trudge through the crackling snow and read the tracks of the wild animals and learn more about their wintering strategies. On this snowshoe hike you will learn more about the local fauna and learn what safe and considerate touring in winter means.

The tour takes snowshoe hikers through the beautiful winter landscape from Tschiertschen in Schanfigg to Churwalden. Along the way, hiking and snowshoe guide Léonie van de Vijfeijken will tell you which animals are out and about in winter and why they depend on our consideration. You will also learn how to prepare for a tour in winter and in snow and how to move safely in the terrain.

The snowshoe tour is aimed at adults and children aged 12 and over with a normal level of fitness. Some mountain hiking experience is necessary, but no previous knowledge of snowshoeing is necessary.

If there is too little snow, a game and forest hike is made in the region.
