Schneeschuhtour zur Spitzmeilenhütte

Day 1
After a short ascent with the Prodalp Express, we first walk comfortably along the winter hiking trail to Alp Panuöl and on to Alp Fursch. The sympathetically run mountain pub invites you to lunch. From here, our trail leads away from the mainstream and increasingly steeper to a plateau that leads us to the panoramic Spitzmeilenhütte (2087m). The bizarre peaks on the hilly landscape are impressive. From the cozy parlour we enjoy the magnificent mountain panorama and let Esther & Roland and crew spoil us with culinary delights.

Day 2
Freshly strengthened, we leave the unique hut. The varied tour leads first over wide plains, then increasingly scenic to Wissmeilen (2481m). In the middle of the Sardona World Heritage Site, we take our time to enjoy the breathtaking view. The descent follows over the wide slopes of Alp Fursch and Panuöl and so we reach the Maschgenlücke, where we toast the eventful days together. Then we reach the Maschgenkamm in a short climb. Here the train takes us down to the Tannenboden.

REQUIREMENTS: Sufficient physical condition, enjoyment of nature and social gatherings. This tour is also suitable for beginners. At the beginning of the tour, a short introduction to the handling of the avalanche transceiver is carried out.

MEETING POINT: Saturday, 28.02.2026 at 08:15 a.m., Flumserberg Tannenheim

ARRIVAL: Individually, for participants who arrive by car, there are paid outdoor parking spaces at the Tannenheim valley station.

RETURN JOURNEY: Sunday 01.03.2026 from 16:00, from Flumserberg Tannenboden. From here there are regular bus connections to the car park in Tannenheim or you can take the cable car to the train station in Unterterzen.

FOOD / DRINK: During the day we will have lunch and small snacks from the backpack, marching tea is available from the hut. On the first day, there is the possibility to have lunch in Alp Fursch.

OVERNIGHT STAY: We spend the night in the shared room of the Spitzmeilenhütte. The use of a silk sleeping bag is mandatory.

INCLUDED: Overnight stay with half board and two professionally guided snowshoe tours with hiking guide FA / GeoGuide Sardona

EXCLUSIVE: Drinks, lunch, material, cable car and public transport

REGISTRATION / PAYMENT: Registration until 24.02.2026 / after payment of the costs via IBAN or Twint, your registration is final.

IMPLEMENTATION: The program will be adapted to the conditions. The tour can only be cancelled by the organization. In this case, you will receive a message by text message two days before the tour.
