Event Viamala
In search of beaver tracks in the cantonal nature reserve of Munté

Description
Our guide will show you the Munté cantonal nature reserve, which is characterized by a variety of habitats. From the pond to the dry site, almost everything is available. It is a breeding ground for various bird species, especially water and marsh bird species, and offers a resting and feeding place for migratory birds. For some years now, the beaver has been leaving its tracks around the ponds.
On our guided tour we can discover different species of birds and animal tracks. We may even be able to observe a beaver that sets off on its nocturnal forays.
Please wear good shoes and clothing adapted to the weather. If you have, you should bring your binoculars.
