SimonTRYtoCRY und EiT

With SimonTRYtoCRY and EiT, two independent voices of dark electronic guitar music meet - between coldwave, industrial and post-punk, an intense concert evening full of atmosphere and energy is created.

The Zurich-based duo SimonTRYtoCRY around singer, guitarist and producer Simon Good creates a modern coldwave sound from melancholic melodies, flat synthesizers and urgent trap hi-hats, which translates personal experiences of longing, inner turmoil and depression into haunting songs. Live, this fragile and at the same time powerful sound image is implemented together with bassist and visual co-creator Gwendolin Good: electric guitar, synthesizer and drum machine merge with emotional vocals to create a dense, hypnotic performance. After two years of intensive stage work around Zurich and Winterthur, SimonTRYtoCRY released his first single "Ice Stops You From Moving" at the end of 2025 - a song about letting go of past relationship experiences and the courage to make a new beginning. The project combines cool electronics with indie guitar aesthetics, creating a sound between club melancholy and post-punk intimacy.

As support, EiT opens the evening with a raw, electrifying mixture of electro, noise, post-hardcore and industrial. Behind the project is multi-instrumentalist freakMatteo, who has been developing EiT as a solo vision since 2011 and has been bringing it to the stage in a new duo form together with bassist IeT since 2023. Distorted guitars, programmed beats and harsh sound textures meet driving rhythms and choral bass lines. Complemented by idiosyncratic, almost extraterrestrial-looking visuals, an immediate, physical experience is created live that is both disturbing and inspiring. With releases such as Noisician and numerous club shows in Zurich, EiT has established itself as an independent voice of the local industrial and noise scene.

Together, SimonTRYtoCRY and EiT span an arc from introspective coldwave melancholy to uncompromising industrial energy - an evening for all those who are looking for dark soundscapes, emotional intensity and electronic guitar music beyond the mainstream.
