Swiss Hiking Night - Sunrise high above the Rhine Gorge

The nocturnal hike takes us along the Walserweg Safiental over the Tenner Alp up to the Tenner Chrüz. From here we can see the lights of the villages below us and look as far as the cantonal capital of Chur. From Tenner Chrüz we continue to climb steeply up to the Schlüechtli. On the way we experience how slowly the day awakens. With a wonderful view of the Rhine Gorge and the Graubünden mountains, we enjoy the first rays of sunshine that blink and warm us up. The descent is via the Tenner Chrüz and the Flimser Bänkli back to Tenna. Here we fortify ourselves at the Berghotel Alpenblick with a fine breakfast and review the hike. Afterwards, there will be a guided tour of the village with a visit to the church with its Gothic frescoes.
