Swiss orchestra – TOUR #8 «BRILLIANTLY SWISS»
Description
The Swiss Orchestra performs music by the composer Paul Juon, who has his roots in Graubünden, together with the Aargau violinist Sebastian Bohren. .
Famous miniatures (such as "Liebesfreud" and "Schön Rosmarin") by Fritz Kreisler with their dreamlike melodies and ingratiating harmonies can be experienced at the Swiss Orchestra concert in the Morosani Schweizerhof Davos, as well as virtuoso interludes in Giuseppe Tartini's "Devil's Trill Sonata". The soloist is the internationally acclaimed Swiss violinist Sebastian Bohren. The Swiss Orchestra will also perform two previously unknown Romantic compositions from Switzerland: works by the composer Paul Juon, who has his roots in Graubünden, and George Templeton Strong, who grew up in Geneva. The concert will be rounded off with Edvard Grieg's popular "Holberg Suite". The Swiss Orchestra will be conducted by Lena-Lisa Wüstendörfer.
