Teenage Kings und Hukedicht

The Teenage Kings serve rip-off garage trash with dirty chainsaw riffs and an extra portion of desperation, lust and beer sweat. Their songs have two verses, two choruses, a guitar solo and never last longer than two and a half minutes. That's why the Teenage Kings have already been allowed to be on stage with such great bands as the Zodiac Killers, Candy Snatchers, Dirtbombs, Columbian Neckties or the Monsters.
In 2000, the three musicians Milieu Heinz, Rafiki and Thaiboy stumbled onto a stage for the first time. So broad and nervous that the first song was played three times. It was the start of a remarkable garage rock career, led by pinup boy Milieuheinz, King of the TEENAGE KINGS and Master of Brustbehaarung. A year later, her first single "Don't fool me" followed on Zurich Chainsaw Massacre Records. Despite - or perhaps because of - the miserable production, the fanzines outdid each other with praise. Joachim Hiller, editor of the Ox Fanzine, wrote: "Did anyone claim that there are no good punk bands from Switzerland at the moment? Bullshit! The Teenage Kings are living proof to the contrary..."
