Scarred by countless jobs, stuntman Colt Seavers (Oscar® nominee Ryan Gosling, Barbie) had actually retired from active duty a year earlier to recover physically and mentally from his back-breaking job. But then Tom Ryder (Golden Globe winner Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Bullet Train), star of a multimillion-dollar film project, disappears without a trace. The film is directed by Colt's ex Jody Moreno (Golden Globe winner Emily Blunt, Oppenheimer) – and before he knows it, Colt is back on duty. While the film's hardened producer (Emmy winner Hannah Waddingham, Ted Lasso) tries to keep her star's disappearance a secret from the studio and the media, Colt does the hair-raising stunts and tries more or less successfully to win Jody's favor back. But soon the mysteries surrounding the missing star become more and more mysterious, and Colt finds himself embroiled in a sinister conspiracy that is more dangerous than any stunt...
