The theme of the workshop is "The emigration of glassmakers – Sound stained glass" and will be conducted by Gianni Bertossa, born in Rovereda and Zurich by adoption. Bertossa trained as a graphic designer and social worker and then followed theatrical training with Peter Honegger and the Master Classes of Peter Shub and Bernhard Stöckli of the Dimitri School, as well as mime courses by Carlos Martinez and clown training for the elderly with Ulrich Fey. The workshop will be dedicated to an innovative type of theatre that is based on visual inventiveness, the use of colours, textual writing and voice modulation, using electronic instruments to generate unique sound situations. The first section will be dedicated to the theory and history of emigrant glassmakers. Afterwards, participants will be transformed into stained glass artisans, using colored and transparent papers framed with black cardboard.

The second section will be entirely dedicated to experimentation with electronic materials in order to create new and distinctive sounds, such as echo, reverb, distortion and transformation
to achieve robotic and futuristic effects. Everything will end with a show for the public on Friday 8 August at 17:00.
