Tree walk in the Rheinquartier

On a tree walk with Richard Walder we learn more about the trees in the lower Chur Rhine district. After an introduction to the Fortuna playground, we will get to know various native and exotic city trees on a 1 1/2-hour tour of the district and learn something about their living conditions. Richard Walder is a forestry engineer by profession. After graduating, he worked in the horticultural department of the city of Zurich, among other places. He was drawn to the mountains for work, where he held a management position at the Cantonal Office for Forests and Natural Hazards for around 30 years. The tour is an activity of the Plessur-Scaletta neighbourhood association. Guests are welcome, registration is not necessary.
