Guided hike from Lüen over Praden to Chur with commentary on the sound installations "Fernsein" and "Wellen" In the footsteps of sound: Experience cultural history in Schanfigg and immerse yourself in the acoustic world of the valley. As part of the major project "[tʃlˈfɪk]: Sounding Cultural History in Schanfigg," there will be various sound installations and objects to discover in different villages in Schanfigg during the summer months starting in 2024. The approximately 15 sounding installations make the cultural history of Schanfigg tangible on both sides of the valley. On Saturday, June 21, 2025, the two stations "Fernsein" and "Wellen" will be hiked along the village trail Schanfigg from Lüen over Praden to Chur, where you will encounter sounds of the ocean surf and randomly perceived frequencies through electronics. Interesting backgrounds regarding the historical contexts and their artistic development await you, as well as the beautiful nature of Schanfigg.
