[tʃlˈfɪk]. Lecture on the topic of archaeological excavations on the Carschlingg hill and the sound installation "Old Iron" In the footsteps of sound: Learn more about the cultural history in Schanfigg and immerse yourself in the sound world of the valley. As part of the major project "[tʃlˈfɪk]: Sounding Cultural History in Schanfigg," different sound installations and objects will be discovered in various villages throughout Schanfigg during the summer months starting in 2024. The approximately 15 sound installations make the cultural history of Schanfigg tangible on both sides of the valley. In connection with the sound installation "Old Iron" in Castiel, which serves as a sound instrument in dialogue with the church bell and reminds of the archaeological findings on the Carschlingg hill, an interesting lecture on "Archaeology in Castiel" by Patrick Cassitti from the archaeological service of Graubünden will take place on Thursday, June 12, 2025. The artist Pascal Lüthi will be present and will share more about the background of his sound installation "Old Iron" as well as musically accompany the evening. For more information about the sound installation, visit arosa.swiss/klingend or check the Muva App (muva-app.ch).
