Event Davos Klosters
Vacancy in Davos – Solutions

Description
Panel discussion based on the semester papers BA Interior Architecture Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts | Entrance free.
EXPERIENCE | EXHIBITION
The semester project in the module "Space, Use + Environment" looks at the phenomenon of vacant spaces in Davos. Ground floor zones are an important part of city life. Restructuring processes in the industry, the growth of online retail, shifts in social and cultural values, but also legal framework conditions are causing a change in function. Underused commercial and retail space is a visible expression of this change.
Free from restrictive conditions, possible and impossible scenarios can be thought and shown. The aim is the discourse on the sustainable revitalisation of the ground floors in the townscape.
.
At 6 p.m. there will be a panel discussion on this topic.
In the foyer of the Kulturplatz Davos, the students' semester projects can be viewed from 17.06 to 01.07.2025. The Kulturplatz is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.
