Vernissasge Ausstellung Gabriele Stötzer: Mit Hand & Fuss, Haut & Haar

The exhibition With Hand & Foot, Skin & Hair shows Gabriele Stötzer's photographs from the 1980s, which use the body as a means of expression for intimacy, protest and transformation. Stötzer, who was persecuted in the GDR for her resistance to state repression, used the body as a form of artistic and political rebellion. Her works combine photography with performance and other media such as painting and ceramics to explore themes such as female solidarity, resistance and identity. The exhibition examines Stötzer's influence on feminist art and its significance in the context of the GDR dissident movement. It is part of the OBJEKTIV series at Muzeum Susch and is curated by Daniel Blochwitz.
