Water World at Segnesboden - Guided Hike

After a short ascent to the Grauberg, we get an overview of the Segnesböden and an insight into the remains of the Glarus main thrust. The design of the landscape is an expression of driving forces, above all the water. Far up on the Lower Segnesboden, the Flimser Dorfbach (Flem) is still a collection of various springs, rivulets and waterfalls. There, they have been shaping the landscape for thousands of years and will continue to do so in the future. The end is the unique Lower Segnesboden, before the stream continues its way through the barrier of the Flims landslide towards Flims. Geo- and biodiversity are particularly diverse here.
