Wolfram Schneider-Lastin (Zurich/Berlin) completed his acting training with Ludwig Anschütz in Stuttgart. In addition to his engagements as an actor, singer, dancer, dramaturge and author – at renowned theatres in Switzerland and beyond – Wolfram Schneider-Lastin has made a name for himself above all as a reciter of German literature. Wolfgang Borchert (1921-1947) is one of the most important authors of German post-war literature. The short story "Shishyphush or My Uncle's Waiter" is one of Borchert's most cheerful texts and one of his best-known works.
