Stage 2: Grialetsch Hut SAC - Kesch Hut SAC

Stage 3: Kesch Hut SAC - Es-cha Hut SAC

Stage 4: Es-cha Hut SAC - Preda or Bergün

Safety Note

The Kesch Trek is an alpine mountain hike. The possible dangers in the high mountains must be properly assessed. The hiking stages require good physical condition.

In October and from late April to the end of May, the Swiss Army conducts shooting exercises around S-chanf. Therefore, the area between S-chanf and the mountain inn Dürrboden is closed during this time in the Scaletta and Grialetsch areas (life-threatening danger).

Equipment

Sturdy mountain boots, weatherproof and warm clothing, rain protection, provisions for the hiking stages (lunch packages can also be obtained in the huts), sufficient water, sun and head protection, pocket pharmacy, maps for orientation, and optional hiking poles.

Directions

The Kesch Trek is marked as a mountain hike with white-red-white. Between Flüela and Albula Pass, it uses the signage of the existing hiking trails.
