Description

The path first leisurely follows the railway line down to the reservoir before it rises slightly and you reach Furggaalp via the lush alpine pastures. Here, the cozy little inn invites you to linger and enjoy before the path disappears into the forest and you climb up to the Grünseeli. From the Grünseeli, it goes almost flat under the mighty mountains. The forest opens repeatedly, offering views of Arosa on the opposite valley side. After a descent, you pass through the Isel and return to the starting point. In early summer, countless lady’s slipper orchids can be admired here in the forest. This protected orchid species thrives in the semi-shade of the forest.
