Description

Varied circular route that leads from Landquart or Malans along the Chlus to the mountain road to Seewis. Before reaching Seewis village, turn left onto a forest road and continue the ascent on this road. Further up, drive right over the bridge, then after a short section on a small road, a tricky but very flowing forest trail follows on the left. At the end of this trail, there are short but steep sections that require full concentration and good climbing technique. Soon, however, you reach the Restaurant Fadära, where it is worth taking a break. We continue a bit further on the mountain road and then take the second left turn to Fadärastein, which must be climbed again via natural trails. The reward, however, is certain: a magnificent panorama that extends over the entire Grisons Rhine Valley and Sarganserland. The steeply falling mountain forest towards Malans already awakens the anticipation of the upcoming descent. The uppermost section is quite challenging, but soon the trail becomes very flowing and is also easy to handle for those less technically experienced.
