Description

Without a long warm-up route, we immediately go uphill through the Arosa ski area, the ski lifts and their masts can be found everywhere. When we then drive past under the Hörnli, we have practically reached the height and deserve a first refreshment in the Hörnlihütte on the ridge.
The next section cannot be denied the alpine character; through a stone desert our single trail leads first a little downhill, then slightly upwards. Shortly before the Urdenfürggli, from where you can reach the Lenzerheide, we turn right down to the Urder Augstberg.
The valley quickly becomes sweeter and greener again, and on our right the Urdensee greets. A well-drivable single trail awaits us downhill, until we have to pedal again briefly after crossing the Urdenbach. The following section to Arosa along the tree line offers wonderful panoramic views over the Schanfigg. On the Ochsenalp we can expect another refreshment before we take the last kilometers back to Arosa under the wheels.

Geheimtipp

A short break on the lovely terrace of the Hörnlihütte. An ideal bike stop - If necessary, a small workshop is also available.
