Description

The Glücksstein Trail starts with the first of six stations in the Alpengarten Maran. Besides a magnificent view, you can admire special plants and sparkling stones. Each station has a small quiz that invites both young and old to participate.

Directions

The Glücksstein Trail starts at the Alpengarten Maran. It is easily accessible by the local bus or on foot, for example via the Eichhörnliweg. From Maran, the circular route is marked with signs. Time planning: approx. two hours plus enough time to explore.

Public Transport

The Rhaetian Railway runs hourly from Chur to Arosa and back. At Arosa station, you will find the local bus that conveniently takes you to Maran, from where the start of the Glückssteintrail is just a stone's throw away.

Travel Information

By car, follow the signs from Chur to Arosa. At the village entrance, turn right at the level of the petrol station towards the golf course.

Parking

There is a limited number of parking spaces at the golf course - directly next to the Glückssteintrail. It is recommended to park the car instead in the Ochsenbühl car park. The local bus also runs very close there. Further information can be found here.
