Details

Description

The hike starts on the mostly snow-cleared road up towards Planezzas. This is where the actual winter hike begins. The well-groomed winter hike leads up to Curschellas. From Curschellas the path leads through the snow-covered countryside via Rumassal towards Vignogn. Above the village, the path branches off to the right, then climbs steadily and gently back to Lumbrein.

Geheimtipp

Take a sled with you. Some sections are very nice for sledding.

Sicherheitshinweis

In case of uncertain weather conditions, the tour should be avoided. Changes in the weather are common in the mountains. If a bad weather front or similar arises during the hike, you should turn back in time. Even in dense fog, we advise against the hike.

Ausrüstung

High and sturdy walking boots or winter boots, warm clothes, sun protection, walking poles are advantageous.

During the winter season, the Postbus can be used free of charge by everyone on the Ilanz – Vrin line and on the other lines throughout the municipality of Lumnezia.

Via Chur A3/A13 via Flims to Ilanz in the Val Lumnezia.

Parking

Limited parking in Lumbrein. We generally recommend travelling by public transport.

Museum Surselva

Casa d'Angel, Lumbrein

The Casa d'Angel has been the cultural center of the municipality of Lumnezia since 2015. In collaboration with the Fundaziun Capauliana and changing curators, a new exhibition is held every year and one of the two giant crystals of the Péz Regina is on display on the first floor.
