Muottas Muragl (SwitzerlandMobility Route 562)

To enjoy the most beautiful view of the Engadin in complete silence, all you have to do is take a few steps out into the enchanting mountain world. At the best way to do this is on snowshoes. Even beginners can take the 3.5 kilometre-long snowshoe trail Muottas Muragl without hesitation.

The trail is well signposted and leads first along the Philosophers' Trail. You follow the ridge of the Val Champagna and you will reach the halfway point at Plaun dals Müls plain. With the Val Muragl, the Bernina Group and the frozen lake district before your eyes, you return to the mountain hotel where the tour is best topped off with "mountain dining" in the panoramic restaurant of the Romantik Hotel. And as an encore, enjoy the spectacular sunset.
