Description
This themed trail begins at the "Samnaun-Laret, Dorf" stop, by the house where Father Maurus Carnot was born. First it goes along the Laret and Welschdörflistrasse, past the end point of the remaining downhill run no. 60 down to the Shell petrol station. The leisurely walk then continues along the Talstrasse and then along the Bachweg, the Schergenbach. The destination in Samnaun-Plan is not far away: the «Chasa Retica Museum», the oldest house in Samnaun. This country lane from the Trua bridge to Plan invites you to hike and walk in summer and winter. A total of 17 informative panels present the life of the important Samnauner. The panels are attached to the light poles, thanks to the lighting you can still walk along this memorial path in the evening.

Why not visit the «Chasa Retica Museum»? This museum houses the rooms of the Father Marcus Carnot Foundation, where a permanent exhibition has been set up showing the life and work of the poet-monk. The museum is located in Samnaun-Plan.
Visits are only possible with a guided tour. Guided tour of the valley museum, takes place weekly in the winter and summer seasons. Registration at the Samnaun guest information.

- In Samnaun during the day hourly connection with the Samnaunbus to the PostBus stop Samnaun-Laret
Anreise Information
- From the north: via Landquart - Klosters by car transport through the Vereina tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains) Then take the H27 in the direction via Scuol and Martina to Vinadi. At the junction Vinadi to Samnaun (about 1 hour from Vereina Südportal)
- From the east: via the Inn valley road B180 via Landeck to Pfunds, junction Kajetansbrücke and via Spiss to Samnaun.
- From the south: via Reschenpass (Nauders) on B180 to Pfunds, junction Kajetansbrücke and via Spiss to Samnaun.
