Description

From the PostBus stop Vnà, Jalmèr, walk through the village and leave on the forest road in the direction of Val Sinestra. After about one kilometre, the forest road branches off to the right. On an alpine road, the path leads through the forest up to Alp Pradatsch. After the alp, the forest slowly thins out, the path branches off to the right after about 300m and then climbs rapidly. Always along the flat ridge, the path leads uphill over the pastures. The summit only becomes visible shortly before the finish, where the path winds through the rocks of the summit structure. Thanks to the upstream and free-standing location, you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view over the peaks and side valleys of the Lower Engadine from the summit. The way back begins on the ridge in a northerly direction, with the pyramid-shaped three-thousand-metre Muttler in view. After about 600m, the path branches off to the right at Fuorcla Pradatsch. The hiking trail now leads downhill over open meadows to Marangun, which is slightly elevated on the right side of the valley cut. From Marangun you follow the alpine road to Alp Discholas. For the way back to Vnà, first follow the alpine road and leave it after about one kilometre on the left side on a footpath and finally reach a forest path further down, which takes you directly back to the starting point of Vnà.
