Description

"Do what you can, with what you have, where you are" – the quote from the former US President Theodore Roosevelt aptly describes agriculture in the Rheinwald over all centuries.

Since time immemorial, the Rheinwald has focused on livestock farming. While the focus was formerly on cattle breeding, Rheinwald businesses now rely on organic farming. The finest products are made from milk and meat. Various types of cheese and Bündner meat specialties are offered in all villages.

Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy the fine organic products locally.

At the guest information centre in Splügen, you can obtain the free brochure (MiniGuide), which provides exciting information about the seven locations and/or objects.

The Rheinquellweg "agriculture" starts at the village fountain in Splügen and ends at the village square in Sufers. The theme trail can be walked in both directions. The route is signposted.
