Description
Start at Cazis station heading north via Rodels, change to the right side of the Rhine at Rothenbrunnen on the A13. Cross the old iron bridge, then right along Switzerland Mobile Route 261 into the Rhine meadows and follow the sound of the Rhine. Two short climbs lead over the meadows trail to Rhäzüns and Route 261 to Bonaduz. Turn left at Lag onto Route 256, from Bot Mulins via Scardanal to the Crap Prau Grond tunnel requires some pedaling effort (max. 14%). Along the forest and agricultural paths (262), every meter of altitude gained reveals a premium panorama from the Rhine sources of the Vorderrhein to the Hinterrhein.
After descending via Sella Sura and point 1629, some gentle climbs follow to Sarner Alp. Parsiras is accessible via the trail pro da l’Alp, left above point 1802. The last tough climb to the Bischolapass is mostly pushing the bike.
Enjoy the panorama and flowingly descend via Alp Lüsch. Here briefly use the hiking trail to the Bradeggaweg and head southwest via Lüschersee, Glaspass, and Route 1/90 mostly off the main road down into the valley.
