Description

The public bus takes you from Davos to Dürrboden, where the challenging hike starts. After refreshments in the Dürrboden restaurant, the trail climbs steadily southwards to the Scalettapass, from where the view opens up to the magnificent mountain landscape to the south. The Kesch massif is in the background on the right. Beyond the pass, the path branches out after about 800m and we continue slightly downhill to the right through scree, splendid flower heaps and across numerous streams. After a short ascent, the upper Ravais-ch lake is reached and the trail leads over the ridge and through the scree to the Sertig Pass. Afterwards, a steep descent over scree slopes leads to the Chüealp valley and further down the valley to Sertig Sand, where the public bus takes you back to Davos.

Geheimtipp

The Walserhuus restaurant is the ideal place to stop after the hike.

Sicherheitshinweis

Every October and from the end of April to the end of May, the Swiss Army carries out firing exercises in the area around S-chanf. This means that the area between S-chanf and the Dürrboden mountain inn over the Scalettapass is closed.
