Description

The fifth stage starts in the shade, because the grey rock faces in the south have to be climbed first. Alpine terrain awaits you and accordingly the path is marked blue/white. Right at the beginning, the path over the Grischsattel is marked in blue/white, surefootedness and alpine experience are required. On the Grischsattel you will be rewarded with the first rays of sunshine of the day. If you like, you can climb the Laaxer Stöckli 2899 m or the Ofen 2872 m from here. From the Grischsattel it goes continuously downhill to the Grauberg mountain station. From here, the path leads to the left to the lower Segnesboden.

The lower Segnesboden is a moorland landscape of national importance and a very sensitive habitat. Please stay on the marked trail.

On the way to the Segneshütte you can take a last break at the thundering waterfall.

Safety Note

Current information (snow, ice, rockfall) for the path over the Grischsattel can be given by the hut warden team of the Martinsmadhütte.
