Description

If you want to try snowshoeing or just want to experience a short pleasure tour, this signposted snowshoe trail is the right place for you. The mountains are not flat here, so there are also somewhat steeper slopes here. But they are all easy to manage.

The entrance is about 150 meters away from the valley station of the solar ski lift, along the road uphill. After the first few meters on the road, it's time to mount snowshoes and trudge uphill. Passing some larches, you soon come to a stable, which is located just below the Allmeini huts. These mountain huts are a beautiful subject and invite you to take a break. Past the so-called Hüttaputz - the small frozen pond - the tour soon leads back down towards the ski lift. The steeper slopes tempt you to slide down towards the ski slope. Be sure not to walk down the ski slope here, but follow the signs in the direction of the start/finish.

Geheimtipp

Refreshments in the Tenna piste pub at the solar ski lift or at the Alpenblick mountain hotel in Tenna Mitte.

Sicherheitshinweis

This snowshoe tour is marked off-road with pink posts, but is not groomed. There are no steeper slopes that are prone to avalanches. However, if there is a high risk of avalanches, tours in unsecured terrain must be avoided as a matter of principle.

You can find out more about the current avalanche danger on WhiteRisk .

For carefree enjoyment on longer tours, we recommend our mountain guides and snowshoe hiking guides of the Surselva.

Ausrüstung

Well-functioning snowshoes, poles with winter plates, good footwear, clothing suitable for winter. The wind can significantly lower the perceived temperature in winter: don't forget winter gloves, hat, thermos bottle, etc.
