Ski and snowshoe route

The ski and snowshoe routes are to be understood as general directions. Depending on conditions, ascent and descent routes must be adapted. No guarantee can be given for the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of the information provided.

Doing ski touring in open and unsecured terrain is at your own risk. Thorough preparation, route planning, and obtaining current information about snow and avalanche conditions are strongly recommended to every tour participant.

This route description and any markings on the terrain do not represent a route recommendation. The decision to proceed lies solely with the individual tour participant. It is strongly advised against undertaking the route in poor weather and visibility conditions (fog, snowfall, etc.) or when there is an increased avalanche danger. Beware of spring conditions: from approximately March and generally on warm and/or very sunny days, tours must be ended early.

We recommend undertaking ski and snowshoe tours in alpine and high alpine terrain with a mountain guide.

The question of the right equipment for ski touring is not easy to answer! It depends on the season and weather conditions as well as the type and duration of the route. Furthermore, the difficulty, altitude, and other factors must be considered! Basically, the rule is: as little as possible, as much as necessary!
