From Juf im Avers (2126m) into the valley along the young Jufer Rhine until the valley basin closes. This is followed by an ascent to the straight surface below the Jufer-Joch. The steep passage up to the Jufer-Joch (The snow conditions must be very safe). Then the final ridge up to the eastern summit of Piz Piot. The effort is rewarded with a view of the Bergell, the Avers and, in good weather conditions, the Monterosa area. The descent then takes place via the ascent route.
