The ascent is considered a connecting trail to the Prodalp circuit and the Panüöl trail. On this trail you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the Sarganserland. In the final part, the route opens up on the very beautiful Prodalp plateau. The connecting trail is challenging, but varied.

Attention: the trail crosses the slope and the toboggan run.

Public Transport

Arrival by train to Unterterzen and up with the cable car Unterterzen - Tannenboden

Daily from Zurich with the S25 to Ziegelbrücke with a change to the S4 to Unterterzen

Daily from St. Gallen with the S4 directly to Unterterzen

Daily from Zurich and Chur with the RE to Walenstadt with change to bus 444 to Unterterzen

From Unterterzen, the 8-seater gondola lift takes you directly to the Flumserberg to the Tannenboden LUFAG valley station.

Arrival by train to Flums and Postbus to Flumserberg Tannenboden

Daily to Flums or Sargans, continue by bus 441 in the direction of Flumserberg to the stop Tannenboden, Dorf.

Motorway exit Flums/Flumserberg, follow the main road in the direction of Flumserberg Tannenboden. Then follow the signs for Madils at the Tannenboden.

Parking

Public parking available at the Tannenboden.

Parking is available from 07.00 to 17.00. From 17.00 to 02.00 we are allowed to leave the car for free.

After 02.00 to 07.00 a.m. there is a night parking ban. There are plenty of night parking spaces in the Tannenboden multi-storey car park or in the Tannenheim. 

The night car park can be used for a fee, but camping is prohibited.
