Description
The route takes you along winding roads, through remote valleys and between steep mountainsides to almost unknown, lonely mountain passes. From the Italian way of life, with air-dried ham and delicious cappuccino, to lush green valleys with torrents that gorge themselves through the rocks with arkish shimmering through the rocks, to the Canadian-like national park, where even bears still feel at home, makes every motorcyclist's heart beat faster.
The route leads from Davos over the first pass, the Flüela Pass, to Such. From there, continue east towards Scuol and then follow the road all the way to the Martina border area. After crossing the border, turn right up towards Nauders and within 30 minutes you reach the second border crossing into Vinschgau in the South Tyrolean Alps. The photo highlight here is the flooded church tower, the top of which still protrudes from the lake. After the photo point, continue towards Mals, from where you return to Switzerland via the Münstertal valley. In Switzerland, the route leads over the Ofen Pass through the Engadine to La Punt and from there over the last Alpine pass, the Albula, where the magical Lai da Palpuogna lake is located. The tour is rounded off via Bergün, Filisur, Alvaneu and through the Landwasser Valley back to Davos.
