Engadin St. Moritz im Sommer
Engadin St. Moritz im Winter
The Engadin St. Moritz holiday region lies at an altitude of 1,800 metres on the southern side of the Alps, atop the "roof of Europe". Thanks to its beautiful lake landscape, Engadin St. Moritz is famous all over the world as the "ballroom of the Alps".

Description

Engadin St. Moritz in summer:

The sunny high valley of Engadin, the natural landscape characterised by lakes and glaciers and the unique aura of St. Moritz: Experience everything Engadin St. Moritz has to offer by exploring its 580 kilometres of summer hiking trails. Alternatively, take to the water on lake Silvaplana, cycle on mountainous terrain on the Corviglia Flow-Trails or take a stroll on the panoramic route of Muottas Muragl. The mighty Bernina massif, the Diavolezza ridge and many more Alpine experiences can be perfectly combined with the art and cuisine that are on offer.

Engadin St. Moritz in winter:

A landscape that was made for winter holidays: The Corviglia, St. Moritz' most prominent mountain, is venue for many international sporting events. Corvatsch mountain offers powder snow and downhill runs from the highest summit station in the Eastern Alps. Add to this the "she-devil" ridge Diavolezza, family-friendly Zuoz and many more skiing resorts. The lakes of Upper Engadin attract countless cross-country skiers with the Engadin Ski Marathon, and if you feel bold you can try out the St. Moritz bobsleigh run. All in all it's of no great surprise that winter tourism was invented here some 150 years ago.
