The Evangelical Parish House in Zizers is a cubic, palazzo-like building with a flat hipped roof. It houses the parish office and a playgroup. The building leads to the church via a spacious staircase.

"Runchett" is the dialect term for the terraced gardens on the steep eastern slope above the Borgo of Poschiavo, which are supported by dry stone walls and were used for fruit and vegetable cultivation until the 20th century. It was in one of these runchetts that Wolfgang Hildesheimer had his first studio built.

The Center da Capricorns in Casti-Wergenstein on the Schamserberg is home to several organisations and services. The project was initiated by the Fundaziun Capricorn, which runs the local hotel and restaurant and promotes sustainable tourism. An exhibition provides information about the nature park and the ibex.
