Alp Grüm is located at 2,091 m above sea level on the edge of the first slope of the Valposchiavo. From here you can enjoy an unmistakable view over the whole Valposchiavo, which extends to Italy. In 1910, the Bernina Line of the Rhaetian Railway was built here. The pretty station building, made of quarry stones, is both a restaurant and a hotel and was opened in 1926.

The Lagh dal Mat is located near the Italian border at 2523 m above sea level, it is about a long time. 180 m and approx. wide. 100 m. The lake is not only an ideal destination for hikers, but is also very popular with those who love fishing in mountain lakes.

"Runchett" is the dialect expression for the terraced gardens on the steep eastern slope above the Borgo of Poschiavo, which are held by dry stone walls and which were used for fruit and vegetable cultivation until the 20th century. Wolfgang Hildesheimer had his first studio built in one of these runchets.
