Design on the Rhine: "Simon Jacomet" shows his ski workshop in Rabius

Simon Jacomet shows his workshop. With forward-looking, innovative materials, skis are developed and manufactured in-house from A to Z - craftsmanship with precision, passion and vision.

After working for Völkl and Salomon and co-founding zai Ski, where he worked as a technology developer and designer for 14 years, Simon Jacomet is now pursuing an independent, holistic approach to ski development and production with JACOMET Ski. Since 2019, skis have been created in his manufactory in Rabius, which are manufactured in-house from the idea to the finished product.

Jacomet attaches great importance to the careful selection of materials and resource conservation. Leftover material is reused or processed into other products such as armchairs. His goal is to make ski production fit for the future and to show real solutions for sustainable production.

With its many years of experience and the pursuit of continuous improvement, Jacomet creates skis that are not only technically convincing and with high performance, but also express a clear attitude towards quality and responsibility.
